Log Cabin Technique Class

Strips are used for constructing log cabin blocks. Color choices can be anything you want, scrappy, predictable, wild or cozy. A more traditional block would be two color groups - lights and darks (red and white, gold and brown, black and gray, etc.) Scrap combinations are always rewarding and take the worry of deciding perfect combinations out of consideration. In other words, bring a combination of darks and lights - they automatically scrap it up. Bring strips of fabric, no smaller than 1 1/4" and no wider than 2 1/2", they don't have to be full length. Colleen will share cutting and sewing tips that make for easier construction and pressing.
This is a technique class, you will decide which block formation you like, and after you have made some blocks, you can decide how many you want to make to determine the size you end up with. We will not get a quilt top made in this class.
